In this 45 minute webinar, we will discuss about validation of the Jones-Wilkins-Lee (JWL) equation of state (EOS) in RADIOSS. The JWL EOS is widely used in simulations to describe thermodynamics of both detonation products and unreacted high explosives. Correlation between the standard physical test used to determine the characteristics of an explosive and simulation results in RADIOSS will be shown.
The use of an accurate material law for concrete will also be discussed, showing comparison between simple tests and simulation results in RADIOSS in order to better understand the material law definition.
