How to Reduce Vehicle Weight Using Simulation Driven Design
This presentation is given by Dr Royston Jones, President of Altair ProductDesign. During the 30 minute session, Dr Jones describes some of the design challenges facing the automotive industry today and how simulation technology and optimization processes are helping to overcome them. Techniques to remove weight from vehicles through the application of optimization technologies are discussed with examples from leading OEMs showing how it has been successfully integrated into existing design processes.
